Type of flux measurements being conducted: Eddy covariance & chambers
Type of optical sampling being conducted: Automated spectral reflectance
Coordinates (lat-lon) of site: 45° 50' 39.84" N/7° 34' 41.16" E
Type of ecosystem: Grassland
Contact: University of Milano-Bicocca, Milano, Italy for spectral measurements; ARPA Valle d'Aosta, Aosta, Italy for flux tower

Data Products Available:

Primary Datasets:
Spectral reflectance, carbon flux with chambers & eddy covariance
Field reflectance: Optical sampling is conducted using an automatic system named HyperSpectral Irradiometer (HSI). This instrument allows measurements of the irradiance incident on and upwelling from the investigated surface, thus allowing the computation of BHR (Bi-Hemispherical Reflectance factor). The very high spectral resolution of this system also allows the estimation of sun-induced chlorophyll fluorescence at the oxygen absorption band O2-A located at 760 nm
