Comments from researcher: We have 4 flux sites at different grazing intensities. One site has two identical eddy flux systems measuring the same fetch.
The original project used relaxed eddy accumulation until 2002 with two ungrazed sites and a moderately grazed site. In 2002 those sites were converted to eddy correlation stations. In 2003, and additional site with abusive grazing was added with two identical towers.
Our plan is to use a hyperspectral radiometer in 2007 on a UAV as well as ground-based hyperspectral measurements of tallgrass prairie.
